Traders Point Creamery Reviews
Our food was delicious BUT I don’t understand how it took 3 hours for a party of 12 to complete a meal. Our waiter was amazing but we didn’t order anything extraordinary. I would probably go back and ... more »
You might as well go through the drive-thru at Wendy's. My 18.00 burger was beyond inadequate. It's a burger, not rocket science. Food is overpriced. When you walk in it smells like a fish market. It ... more »
A couple of friends and I were planning our annual Christmas get-together and chose this restaurant. One member of our group had had a positive experience in the past and recommended it. I had heard g... more »
I like[d] to go there to the dairy bar and get their vanilla ice cream with homemade whip cream (like a sundae) or their root beer float with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, the last time I had the vanilla ice cream will in fact be my last time. Why? The ice cream had a bunch of "gummy" pieces in it. Yuck. My spouse got chocolate ice cream that was perfect. I believe the gumminess comes from improperly storing the ice cream and not keeping it cold enough (freezing and thawing then refreezing) and/or a lack of a plastic interior sheet to blanket the exposed surface and keep the moisture from the surface intact. It's a rookie mistake-- it's a form of dehydration as I understand it. Won't be back.
Organic food-locally grown & prepared. Limited menu choices, but interesting palate combinations. Very nice presentation & tasty. There were several GF options, also. Excellent service. Relaxed atmosphere with choice of indoor seating or open patio, or screened porch. Dinner menu is fairly pricey, though, with entrees ranging from $19 to $40 or maybe more for steak or pork entrees which are market-priced. Sides, including bread, were available but not included in entree price.
I am handicapped and brought a friend who uses a wheelchair. She was unable to enter the building. Their claim to be handicap accessible is a joke and can't possibly meet ADA guidelines. We tried parking around back and entering from there, which is only to the dairy bar and the restaurant, not the store. It's very unsafe since parking is on a steep grade and all downhill on gravel. It's not possible for a wheelchair bound person who is by themselves to enter the doors. The table and chairs are so close together that they have to be moved to navigate in a wheelchair. The lower level must be accessed separately and is even worse. I didn't even try to get her in there. I will never go back here and if someone in your party uses a wheelchair or scooter, I advise you forget this place.
The food was satisfying and we couldn't be more pleased with the staff at the restaurant and store. Our server was outstanding. There was one error in one of our meals and it was immediately corrected. Normally I would not enjoy eating outside in humidity but the area was shaded and screened and altogether pleasant. There was a lag in the kitchen but we were kept well informed and well attended, which left us time for good conversation. And the ice cream was sublime after our meal. Glad we made the effort to get here.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Srver was wonderful, entertaining, and knew the menu very well. The shop down stairs is delightful.
