  • Don't get me wrong, the food here is top notch and the atmosphere is great. However, the timeliness and service that we received was sub-par, to say the least. We were a party of 10, and from the time we sat down to when we received our meals, it had been 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was a Friday night, and I understand that they were busy, but the wait was just far too long. The server only came back about once every 20-30 minutes, and never once apologized about our wait or even acknowledged the fact that we were waiting for so long. If it weren't for the redeeming fact that the food was delicious, my review may have been lower.
  • Come for the ice cream, spend an hour walking around the grounds and seeing cows and fields. Great place to introduce young children to farming, animals, with a tasty object lesson at the end--ice cream. Restaurant with delicious farm-to-table type menu appropriate for business casual to jean-short night out with friends. Technically accessible but lots of gravel, small hills, and such.
  • This place was very laid back, yet elegant. We attended a wedding here and despite being very hot, the barn wedding was amazing, the food was excellent, the service was excellent and the environment was different yet outstanding. Nice job!!
  • Awesome food and great service. Nice variety and there are always new specials. Best steak in town, by far. Great side dishes from on- site garden. We always get the cheese board. Very expensive, but worth it for the quality for a special occasion.
  • (This review is based solely on the Dairy Bar) Farm food at it's finest. Trader's Point is a dairy farm with an onsite restaurant. Everything that they do is organic, natural, and tastes great. We went for the dairy bar. They make their own ice cream and yogurt as well. The outside dairy bar was closed so we had to go upstairs to the bar inside the restaurant. I wanted to try the new Balsamic Strawberry flavor they brought out for the summer. It was amazing. I loved it. For the price you pay (for the ice cream) I wish you got more. But I know that organic products cost more than the other stuff you can get elsewhere. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful when asked questions. They also have a small farm store at the bottom of the stairs where you can buy their yogurt, milk, cheese, etc and take home organic farm fresh foods to enjoy at home. I really want to check out their restaurant sometime.
