  • We really enjoy an afternoon hike through the Sherburne Refuge. A perfect way to spend a fall afternoon. Turn off the media, and throw on a pair of hiking shoes and enjoy the sights of nature.

  • This refuge is expansive and beautiful. The Wildlife drive is something to do more than once to see each season. Spring brings purple lupines. There is a large eagle nest. Fall colors are another amazing sight. Come have a looksee!
  • I do both of the hiking loops in the refuge. They're both nicely maintained. The deer flies do get pretty bad in the summer but if I wear bug-spray they usually leave me alone.

  • Beautiful wildflowers, peaceful, no one else on the trails.... but unfortunately buggy.
  • My grandma is buried here at blue hill. Beautiful place for her to rest with her friends
