  • We really enjoy an afternoon hike through the Sherburne Refuge. A perfect way to spend a fall afternoon. Turn off the media, and throw on a pair of hiking shoes and enjoy the sights of nature.

  • Great nature asset. Particularly like drive through nature trail. Wife and I are fans of Sandhill Cranes which we can see here.
  • what a beautiful refuge! I had my grandchildren's photography done here!
  • This refuge is expansive and beautiful. The Wildlife drive is something to do more than once to see each season. Spring brings purple lupines. There is a large eagle nest. Fall colors are another amazing sight. Come have a looksee!
  • Nice to have such a beautiful place to visit so close to home it's always changing I UT there
  • I do both of the hiking loops in the refuge. They're both nicely maintained. The deer flies do get pretty bad in the summer but if I wear bug-spray they usually leave me alone.
