Yucaipa Regional Park Reviews
Have been coming here since a kid, love it. We always fish and ride the slides. The park and grass areas are fantastic to relax and have picnics and family get togethers. Recommend it! more »
The park is quieter and rigs are often decorated for the holidays. Some sites have campfire areas and the weather has been beautiful. Cool nights and mostly sunny days. Park is quieter than during the... more »
Beautiful setting and lots to do here in this all season park... camping is great, fishing is relaxing and the water slides are so fun.... water is cleaner at the beginning of the summer.... it gets a... more »
We threw our daughter's 2nd birthday here. It was very nice too. There's a fee to get in, they don't charge by the person they charge by the car around 8-10 dollars. Once you pay you can go in and out of the park throughout the day as long as you keep your receipt. Photo was taken at the park with an Nikon D3200.
RV camped at site 9 in December. Decent enough weather to explore the park. Sites were maintained, hookups worked well. Nice to have a site up againsta fence so kids could play safely. Playgrounds were great, fishing on the lake, and hiking trails. Nearby is good restaurants and an indoor playground if the weather gets bad.
This is a beautiful place to walk, picnic, hammock, camp, or fish. Also, there is always a chance to see some wildlife. Many types of birds, including Bald Eagles and Osprey. I've personally seen a Bobcat as well! I am here most days of the week getting exercise and rejuvenating. Definitely worth visiting!
We really love Yucaipa Regional Park. In the summers, they are literally next door to the Yucaipa Community Park, with Movies in the Park and Concerts In The Park that are free to attend, and have concessions and relaxed family-friendly seating on terraced hillsides. But back to Yucaipa Regional Park - there are several lakes with fishing available, a swimming area with water slides and a "beach" (entry to swimming is extra, as is the charge to ride the slides), and there are trees galore. There are well-maintained picnic and camping areas, clean and utilitarian bathrooms, and the trash is picked up on a regular basis. Hiking trails are well-maintained and numerous, and of course there is the ever popular Frisbee Golf. This is a great place for yoga, swimming, hiking, bike-riding, scooter-riding, trail runs, and more. Very family friendly, and there are campfire pits scattered throughout the campground as well as charcoal-style grills that are located at every campsite and in many of the day use picnic areas. Lots of parking, and lots of wildlife - we've seen a big cat, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, frogs, lizards, birds of all imaginable kinds, etc. Summer time evenings in the campground can get a little crazy on occasion if you have partying neighbors, but overall it is a peaceful spot with - did I mention? - lots, and lots of beautiful, mature trees. It is one of the shadiest campgrounds in the surrounding local area, and the park staff members at the kiosk are some of the friendliest and most helpful out of all the San Bernardino and Riverside county regional parks. If you enjoy fall colors and leaves, this is also a great place to come to take pictures or play in the fallen leaves. Definitely one of our favorite RV camping spots!
Beautiful piece of nature in a small part of town! Baseball fields, (little league or softball?) some basketball, & tennis courts, large covered picnic areas, with a few charcoal barbeques! With a nice paved hiking trail, taking you up and around the whole park!
