  • Great place to visit if you want to try very select, small batches. Our host was very knowledgeable and helpful.
  • We had been at several high end tastings on Friday and Ma(i)sonary was recommended to us to try for a variety of high end wines. We arrived at 4:55 (closed at 5:30) & were told that they couldn't acco...  read more »
  • This establishment represents numerous independent wine making operations in the Napa area and offers tastings of moderate to expensive wines. There is a comfortable tasting garden as well as a second...  read more »
  • Great scenery and friendly hosts. I love the art and setting they have created for you to enjoy. They don't actually make any wine of their own, simply a collection from other wineries in the area.
  • My husband and I had a great time at Ma(i)sonry this June. I really liked how you can each customize your own tasting instead of just both getting 3-5 of the same wines poured.
  • A great place to access small wineries products. Very knowledgeable staff. Great opportunity to find quality wines that you perhaps never have know we very good. Nice location.
  • terrible wine by a terrible excuse for a human being. just pleaded guilty to trafficking endangered animal parts to decorate his tacky wine room. what a piece of fecal matter...
  • I've been a member of Ma(i)sonry's wine club for more than 6 years. I have discovered two of my personal favorite wineries through their very diverse menu of small-production, unique "boutique" wineries. Their staff are friendly, accommodating (even to families with infants), and VERY knowledgable and passionate about the wines they serve. Do plan ahead and make an appointment - you will not be disappointed with your personalized experience; it's worth the small fee. Even if you think you know nothing about wine, the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and find something you'll enjoy. There is no pressure to buy anything, no hurt feelings if you leave without buying a bottle. This place is probably the best-kept secret of Yountville. Almost every time I've visited on the weekends, one of the winemakers whose work I taste has been present; many of these independent vintners offer complimentary tastes of their latest releases, and all of them are fun and informative to talk to. Anyone in your group who is not a wine enthusiast will likely pass the time enjoyably by walking through the building (and yard) and taking in the eclectic variety of art on display - some of which you might be sitting on. If you have no idea what to do on your trip to Napa Valley (and Yountville in particular) - make an appointment at Ma(i)sonry. And no, I do NOT work for them in any way, shape or form. I just believe in supporting a unique and worthwhile business when I find one.
