  • We spent about a hour and a half here. Don't miss the film history before you take the self guided tour. It gives you a lot of insight. The old Fort was nicely decotrard with Holiday cheer. We even go...  more »
  • You can see a very nice view. You can see the soldier's gun. I was surprised at very high volume. There are squirrels. Even the River was beautiful. We want to go again.

  • Cool place. Best time to go woukd be during 4th of July. They have re-enactments and you can ask the people questions when they are not in character.
  • The fort is a nice placement. Very spacious and decorated interiors. However the fort is not really big. It is on the smaller scale. From a military perspective, the fort is not as awesome and defensivable as the spanish fort (Castillo de San Cristóbalin) Puerto Rico. Also the fort is not as rich or as informational as san cristobalin. But overall, the views you get are spectacular. Great vantage points to see across the 8mile horizon.
  • This place is so much fun! I would recommend for anyone who likes history to come here.
  • Great time had by all! What a way to experience history! We came with a family full of kids, even young ones, and we all enjoyed it. The tour guide did a great job being brief and keeping it interesting. The re-enactments done every so often were cool. We saw one guy shoot a musket and a group shoot a cannon. Awesome! A great place to take kids.
  • It is a great historic place to visit. Wish they still offered ghost tours.
