Categories: Bodies of Water, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.9/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Take a walk on the shoreline of Tenaya Lake, or hike up the surrounding mountains. Breathe in fresh air coming down from the rocky hills, have a picnic next to the lake, or even go for a swim in the crystal clear water. Be careful as the water can be cold even during the warm months like June, or July. Wear comfortable shoes if hiking, and don’t forget to bring snacks, as well as drinkable water. • I'm jealous in front of photos of other travellers because those who were lucky enough to have a great Sun had wonderful photos, with a pure blue water! I had a grey sky in my passage, water is also not clear blue but I still loved this moment there down, we dive fuck, this was the perfect place! Quiet relaxing and beautiful!

  • What's better than lake water gently lapping the shore? It's worth a short stop alongside the Tioga Pass road to take in the view close up.
