  • This is a breathtaking Yosemite vista experience for all ages. There's an educational placard explaining the geographic significance and evolution of the vista. A bronze topographical sculpture gives one a sense of place amidst the grandeur of it all. There's so many magnificent treasures in this U.S. National Park. Yosemite is the size of the state of Connecticut so give yourself time to enjoy the many gifts that await.
  • Breathtaking views of the Yosemite valley below, and the Olmsted point on the left.. through a binocular u can clearly see half dome hikers using the cables to climb the epic granite half dome.. Great views of the beautiful tenaya lake as well! Take a short hike to get all these views!
  • Very unique location with a unique view! If you're driving the Tioga road to here, note that park rangers are checking the speed! It's a 45 Mph road
  • A really nice place to visit. This area is cold. There's huge rocks you can clim on and take nice pictures. Amazing how some trees grow on the cracks of the rocks.
  • Beautiful views of the back side of Half Dome. The overlooked side of Yosemite! Less tourists and madness on this side of the park. A definite plus!! Photogenic area like many places but very unique. One of my favorite areas of the park!
