  • This is a beutiful stop with great views over the valley, Clouds Rest og Tenaya Lake. Tioga road is a great way to enter or exit Yosemity NP.
  • More beauty, more fascination, more impossible to explain until you have been there yourself.Calm and serene a must see
  • I must sound like a broken record but there are no signs to point out this magnificent spot. I knew you could see half dome at this point along Tioga Rd and it shows on the map from the park. I actual...  more »

  • One of the most amazing views in one of the most amazing National Parks. Good signage explains what you are seeing and some of the natural history. Nice quick hikes on the glacier carved landscape, fun for kids and adults.
  • Breathtaking view of the Yosemite peaks. Do take the 0.2 mile trail for the vista point overlooking the lake and the valley. Do not miss out on the binoculars kept here through which you can see people climbing up the chains on the half dome
  • It's cool to see Half Dome from the opposite side, after seeing it from Glacier Point that is. Beautiful place.
  • Beautiful view of the valley from the "other" side is accessible via a short (maybe 0.5 km) hike. Definitely worth a stop if you're going to (or coming from) Tuolumne Meadows (or Tioga Pass).
  • Amazing views of Half Dome, Clouds Rest, Tenaya Valley and more. Please hike the very short path to the lookout view-it's worth it.
