  • One of the most amazing views in one of the most amazing National Parks. Good signage explains what you are seeing and some of the natural history. Nice quick hikes on the glacier carved landscape, fun for kids and adults.
  • Breathtaking view of the Yosemite peaks. Do take the 0.2 mile trail for the vista point overlooking the lake and the valley. Do not miss out on the binoculars kept here through which you can see people climbing up the chains on the half dome
  • It's cool to see Half Dome from the opposite side, after seeing it from Glacier Point that is. Beautiful place.
  • Beautiful view of the valley from the "other" side is accessible via a short (maybe 0.5 km) hike. Definitely worth a stop if you're going to (or coming from) Tuolumne Meadows (or Tioga Pass).
  • Amazing views of Half Dome, Clouds Rest, Tenaya Valley and more. Please hike the very short path to the lookout view-it's worth it.
