  • As you go through the park rides then this point a must. The parked cars let you already suspect that something. Ideal spot to take nice pictures.

  • This view offers a splendid view of Yosemite Valley. In addition, it is well signposted from the road and a small parking lot is available to stop. Do not miss this opportunity if you go to Yosemite.

  • Driving over Tioga Pass, be sure to stop at Olmstead Point. Even if you get out at the parking lot, there are great views of the valley from the North. Granite peaks & other domes surround you.
  • Beautiful view of the valley from the "other" side is accessible via a short (maybe 0.5 km) hike. Definitely worth a stop if you're going to (or coming from) Tuolumne Meadows (or Tioga Pass).
  • Beautiful spot good place for nightscape and astrophotography
  • Great views. Lots of lizards around if you walk down the rocks. Don't stay near the parking lot. go down to the view point and take it all in.
  • Climb the area across from it is very claimable. The peak of it has a breathtaking view in all directions. A must try.
  • Great access to Yosemite Valley. Drive east of Tioga to see Lake Tenaya.
