  • The Nature Center was closed between 12 and 1, so I wandered off to explore some of the islands around Happy Isles and returned later in the afternoon. This is a great place for folks of all ages...

  • The happy isles trail was a hidden gem that not many people come to. Paved and flat most of the way makes it very accessible for wheelchair users.
  • A cool spot to come visit on your Yosemite trip.
  • It is easy to walk.
  • It may be closed for the remainder of the 2020 season, it still attracts plenty of foot traffic, it being nearby the JMT, the Upper Pines Campground & a restroom.
  • Took a watercolor class here; all skill levels welcome!
