  • Parked rental bikes before the hill and walked up to the lake. Early morning crowd was minimal but picked up as we were heading out. The “lake” was very dry and more of a stream but it has been a dry....  more »
  • The hike is considered easy to moderate, and is not very long. The views on the hike are not much but once you get to Mirror Lake its a nice place for some pictures. I stopped and at lunch there...  more »
  • This far corner of the valley still gets lots of visitors, but the upper and lower "ponds" offer lots of places to soak your feet. I hiked further up the trail and had lunch by myself along Tenaya...  more »

  • The water level was a bit low but it was still as gorgeous as ever. Try to take the trail from the visitor center that is for the bicycles if you’re not into hiking. I took the trail from lower falls and it was brutal but obviously was a lot more fun.
  • Probably the best pictures we took in Yosemite. Gotta be lucky with the sunlight and weather though. Best photo spot was from a little bridge.
  • We hiked for more than 2 miles on trails to reach the spot. The trails path is awesome. The trail is rocky with just narrow path for walking. Water stream can be seen at sides during walk. In Mirror lake the water had dried up and there was not much water in lake. The surrounding view are awesome but the lake was bit disappointing after the long walk
  • We visited Mirror Lake in mid July. The lake was incredibly low and not at all I was expecting. I'm sure it's fuller in the early spring when the snow is melting. There are a few spots though, that you can see a good reflection.
  • Very beautiful place with great views and easy hikes in and around. Usually not too busy, either.
