  • The rock formations that make up this part of the park make one almost feel on a different planet. The hike is a fairly easy couple miles, and the lake is a great place for a picnic.
  • Very nice place to stay overnight if you climb Mt. Hoffmann! Basic but sufficient and very quiet which it the most important thing when yu want to do a multiple day hike in the Yosemite park.

  • Really cool trail, very easy (like maybe 1h one way and 45 minutes the other way at most), not too much elevation (a bit but nothing hard), with an amazing view on the lake at the end, definitely worth the 1 hours you spend walking there, and there is quite a lot of wildlife (nice little rodant, squirrels, various birds) given the altitude.
  • More beautiful than I imagined
  • Steep road that ends at a beautiful Lake
