  • There has been a major upgrade to Central Market in the past couple of years. It now has a nice balance of stands, although it's a big yuppie-fied for my taste. JRs stand is known for hot dogs, but al...  more »
  • We spent a pleasant Saturday in this place, during the MLK weekend. You can eat, listen to good live music, and buy locally grown products such as apples and maple syrup.
  • Visiting markets is always full of surprises, and the York Central Market House is no exception. The building and architecture are awesome, red old bricks and iron frames and structures give a wonderf...  more »
  • Too Much! Too much of a good thing that is. When I attended this year's York Fest the food trucks did not interest me so I walked down to the Market. Lots of neat goodies. I went to a Caribbean restaurant and pigged out. I don't remember the name, though. Lot's of fun. I plan on attending York Fest next summer and come back to the market for some more treats.
  • York's Central Market is a staple for us. We visit regularly to partake of local produce and cuisine. My favorite stands are the Busy Bee restaurant and Dietz Produce, a local organic farm stand. Other places of note are Mezzogiorno for their fine Italian offerings and home made potato chips, and Mudhook Brewing, which I believe is York's first brewpub.
  • This place has a variety of places to grab a delicious bite to eat, and some fun little stands for other things as well. Great little market to spend some time on a Saturday or on a lunch break on Tuesday or Thursday.
  • The variety of options available makes it so there is something for almost everyone. I was there at 8 on Saturday. Unfortunately some of the stands were not open yet due to the time.
  • I live in Old Town Florida 50 miles west of Gainesville Florida. I have been coming to Central Market since I was young. My mom is from York so I have made many trips there. I love the markets, Morning Star, Christmas Tree Hill. I love all of it. I have lots of family in York so I come every chance I get. I love that town.
