  • Be sure to stop here for a classic Maine scene and photo op...went here in the fall and it was busy, so the summer months must be insane! 
  • What a beautiful place to visit and smell the ocean while watching the waves crash against the rocks. We even saw a man swimming out on his surf board in November. You would have to be in good physica...  more »
  • Stunning views a0und the lighthouse, not that easy to find but beautiful when you get there. Don't get confused when you drive through amongst residences trust the GPS.

  • Nubble is about an hour south of Portland. It's a picturesque small park and good to visit almost any time of year. They have a gift shop in the park and the hours are seasonal. You can't go out to the island but it's a great spot to just sit and enjoy the view.
  • Don't miss it. It's not the most photographed lighthouse for no reason. Day or night. Rain or shine. Stellar.
  • Extremely crowded but overall worth it. Nice people in the gift shop and a local artist outside... amazing!
  • Very busy on holiday weekends, as one would expect, but still able to find parking. Fun spot to check out, take pictures and relax. Well worth the visit; town of York not far away
  • Beautiful view. We were staying in Boston for the weekend and made the day trip just to stop to this light house. It was worth the drive.
