  • My wife and I ended up in Arkansas for our first non-family, non-work vacation in 25 years. We decided to do a short 2-2 1/2 hour canoe trip down the Buffalo. E erything was perfect and easy. The rent...  read more »

  • This is a wonderful and relatively easy way to peacefully float down a lovely river and enjoy unspoiled nature in with little noise and usually few people. Wild Bill's Outfitters is located about 4 mi...  read more »
  • My family and I just got back from a quick weekend getaway. We stayed in Cabin 7. We could not have asked for anything better! the cabin was awesome. Very spacious, clean, neat and tidy. The cabins are all spaced out so you don't feel like your space is being invaded. Everyone that we came in contact with was extremely polite and very accommodating. They answered all of our questions and seemed to be genuinely concerned that we would have a good time. We took a float trip on Sunday and this was a very memorable trip for the family. There was absolutely no sense of being rushed and everyone was able to just relax and enjoy the trip down the river. We did the ten mile trip from Dillard's Ferry to Rush. We will make the trip again to this wonderful place and I will highly recommend making reservations with Wild Bill's Outfitters.
  • We had a great experience last weekend. We stayed in cabin 7, which was perfect amount of space and very cool, thank goodness for AC. My only concern was the amount of bugs & spiders. One recommendation is to spray for them bi weekly or something. The canoe ride went well and everyone had a great time, would come back again.
  • Terrible!! Bus driver text the Rangers while driving a bus load of people and had them waiting on the people he suspected of drinking. They hid till they saw you get in your vehicle. This is not hearsay because I heard personally on the park rangers radio while in the back of his suv. I heard it and said so it's the bus driver turning everyone in, he never answered, and turn his radio down. So if you like to float and have a drink I'd suggest somewhere else. Not only myself but about 50 others agreed. Who wants to go have a good day but their be a tattle tale bus driver watching you and setting you up?
  • While camping Buffalo Point Wild Bill's was the place to get ice, snacks and drinks. The largest Canoe and Kayak rental.
  • Please be careful if you come here. A "kid" who lives in a nearby motel came in to buy beer while I was in Wild Bill's and stole my new Rayban sunglasses, which I had left on the counter while I went to the bathroom. A Wild Bill employee saw him do it, and did nothing to stop it. I had to do a long kayak trip on the Buffalo River in the middle of the day with no sunglasses. After the kayak trip, I went back to Wild Bill's. Once I threatened to call the police, "Wild Bill" called the kid's parents. About ten minutes later, the kid's mother brought my sunglasses back to Wild Bill's. I will never go back here. I felt like the cashier was in cahoots with the kid, and that Wild Bill had a lot more knowledge than he was letting on. And why is he selling beer to a kid? The experience left a very bad impression.
