  • Visited the falls multiple times- afternoon and evening. The sun casts different shadows as the day goes on so I recommend multiple visits to truly capture the beauty and grandeur of the falls.  more »
  • The bus after a short walk of about 156 minutes you arrive at the small waterfall, we're lucky it had just rained and we saw each other in front of a beautiful Rainbow.

  • It is the smaller of two falls with 103 ft (33m) high. Lower is much more beautiful. If you have time worth to see.
  • Good viewpoints of the upper Yellowstone Falls, relatively easy effort-wise to get there.
  • Great hike to the upper falls with good views and great for pictures. If you are from lower elevations, allow for some time to acclimate to the thinner air.
  • This is truly a wonderful place to visit! If you are in Yellowstone you must visit the Upper Falls. There is a great viewing point (5 min walk) where you can see the falls in full glory. There is a big parkin lot with restrooms available.
  • One of the "must see" features at Yellowstone. This was our first visit to the park and absolutely loved it, especially Yellowstone Falls. Just make sure you don't miss "Artist Point" down the canyon from the falls.
