5/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web
Hike on S Rim Trail for a visually spectacular experience. Witness the many waterfalls that follow the trail, both large and small. Observe as the water cuts through the rocky hills, and don’t be surprised if you run into some animals, as they are known to wander through this peaceful area. Climb the Artist Point for an open view of the valley. Use it as a photo op because it provides memorable vista. Talk to the park rangers for information about the plants, and animals, as well as the history of the park, and the trail itself. Alternatively, choose a ranger-guided hike where they give out information as you pass the important spots on the trail.
