  • No one can miss this arch. It's at the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Theodore Roosevelt is the one who put the cornerstone. It's majestic and historic! It's quite solidly built and it s...  more »
  • If you're the type that likes to buzz by sights, this is pretty much what you see from the picture. If this describes you, maybe you'll rate this a 2 or 3. There are doors on both sides of the arch, b...  more »
  • We went to Gardiner to eat at Yellowstone Pizza. We also saw the arch which we first saw in 1992. Piece of history of America's National Parks. Great cafes and shops near by before you enter the park.  more »

  • Was neat to see with my own eyes after only seeing it in some old films with Model T's going Through it. Just outside the north entrance of the park in Gardiner Montana.
  • Historical entrance point where Teddy Roosevelt dedicated the park. It is the only entrance guaranteed to be open in the midst of winter.
  • We saw it actually on our way out which was beautiful, but if you can enter this direction, it will set the stage and the mood for the absolutely beauty you will see in Yellowstone.
  • This is just an arch, but it's part of our national history. There are few things that can bring all Americans, not to mention a whole lot of international visitors, together like these National Parks, and this was the first one. This majestic arch stands as tribute to a great man and President who helped to start the process. Of course, even this park predates Roosevelt's presidency, but it's a great reminder of his legacy.
  • Wonderful work in recent years has been done to this area to make it a wonderful attraction that feels a lot more interactive and highlighted as a monument rather than in years past when it seemed sort of forgotten though it is very iconic as the historic main entrance of the park back in the early days of the park.
