  • Absolutely stunning with color of the basin, it was a sight I will never forget. Also a great place to get some nice picture.  more »
  • Biscuit Basin Loop offers a 2/3 of a mile lollipop-loop hike in Yellowstone National Park’s Upper Geyser Basin. Even though the boardwalk is short, there are plenty of geothermal features to see, i.e....  more »

  • There is a trail off this basin called the Mystic Falls trail, which I recommend (west bug spray though!) For a great bird's eye view of geysers. This basin is not as crowded as others in the park.
  • This area has a very short boardwalk that takes you to a number of really beautiful thermal features, including the Sapphire Pool! Just make sure to get here early, as the parking lot fills up quickly!
  • Really amazing to go hiking to the mystic fall and the mountain top. You can accually go to the falls to touch the hot water meeting with the cold.
  • Parking is easier to find than near the grand prismatic springs. Short walk to see all the geysers and pools.
  • A great opportunity for photographs and the colors were amazing
