  • Avalance peak is a super awesome, fairly short, but very strenuous hike. I consider myself to be in good shape and got my butt handed to me. It's only about 2 miles one way, but almost straight up...

  • We came at the summit just after thunderstorm had cleared up. Beautiful place.
  • Obvious trail, amazing scenery. Last portion is walking up rocks
  • My nephew and nieces ages 10, 9 and 11 climbed this and they absolutely loved it. A bit challenging but they made it through.
  • Just went to the trailhead today and was absolutely covered with waist deep snow. We attempted to ascend for a little bit, but was too much of a challenge to continue. Unless, you're going there to take picture of the peak from the trailhead, don't waste your time going. Come back maybe later June, or July once the snow has melted.
  • It’s definitely worth to go on the peak. The view is spectacular. Kind of hard ~~ but u will enjoy it.
