  • We come annually for the BB finals in March. We so look forward to the events. The only thing I won't buy is their Pizza- also cold pizza. Not high on my list. Could use a few more food vendors.  more »

  • State Fair: Admission is reasonable. Food prices are what you'd expect at a fair. We went on Friday morning and we were there just as the gate opened. Lots of vendor stalls were just opening and since we were there only ones really in there, we were attacked by every vendor selling something. Lots of assorted stalls selling house remodeling stuff, wallets, food, resister to win... We went outside. We went through the different exhibit buildings. The petting zoo, you can buy a cup of grains for a couple bucks to feed the animals. There's horse stalls most are gentile enough and let you pet them. We grabbed some lunch, like I said, a bit pricey, but not more than what I was expecting. Look for about $10-15 a person for lunch. We also had to get a funnel cake which was good. We did not do any rides. Overall it's a good fair, lots of exhibits, animals, games and vendors. I spent about$100 for my wife and I, but she likes to try a little of everything.
  • The state fair is extremely over price for admission, parking & food. Why can't we have one event a year that families can afford to go to without putting such a hardship on the family. I know of several families that are opting to do other things like taking their kids to Toy's R Us and buying them a toy or going roller skating or to a movie instead of going to the fair. The committee sets the price for the admission into the fair, parking and the food. For example; you can't sell corn dogs for under $8.00 or pop for under $2.00 and so on. Cut out the entertainment and lower the prices. What's going to happen in the end is that the fair committee is going to eventually price themselves right out of business.
  • The fair there was s preety great!
  • First time at another states fair. Good times
  • Small town fair feel to it with big city auditorium.
