  • When we stopped our car, I came immediately outside. It was amazing. The waves went high up. it continued and continued. There were some homes nearby. They were the lucky ones. They could see this...  more »
  • I like the fact that a visit here puts you right at the beach. There are several state park sites along here, but Ocean Road State Natural Site gets you to the action quicker, and when you are over...  more »
  • Walk the beach, check out the tide pools all within easy access from the road. A very lovely spot and definitely worth a stop as you travel up or down the Oregon coast on highway 101. Also stop for a nice meal at Ona
  • This is a very beautiful section of the Oregon coast. One word of warning, if you're driving an RV, there aren't many gas or convenience services in the area that are easy to access with larger rigs.
  • Stunning views! Peaceful, almost fell asleep listening to the waves. Anywhere you park has great spots to see quite a distance. Have areas to walk on but kids will need to be monitored. I didn't see any tide pools but imagine there should be. That whole mile is just jaw dropping beautiful!
  • Access road is the first right after crossing Yachats bridge south of town that goes around the new KOHO community with access to a super cool cove where the water is 2" to 8" deep for over a hundred yards ... nice soft sand clean beach, low wind, great all day sun exposure and good views in all directions
  • Fun area with plenty of options for beach play. Easy access from road.
