  • Brrrr... We went up the tower on a day when it was around 40 degrees outside. It wasn't too cold at the base, but the wind got stronger - and colder - as we went up. Would be much nicer on a warm day....  more »

  • Fun little off the road spot I didn't go uo the tower by my husband did. They enjoyed it. I like the lik shop they have a bunch if home made things and fudge.
  • Stop for a beautiful view. There is a fire tower one can pay an incredibly steep 6.00 for adults and 4.00 for children to see a panoramic view off of Big Walker Mountain. Or do as we did and drive up Big Walker Rd. For a free lookout. There is a tourist trap store with typical racoon skin hats, overpriced jellies and other things your life is already complete without. Ice cream was ok, but the bathrooms clean.
  • Charming old time tourist General Store and Mountain Lookout at the top of Big Walker Mountain. Excellent newly paved in 2016, Scenic Highway 52 ascends with great curves and views.
  • Great attraction. Perfect for a road trip rest area. Fantastic food live music and an amazing view
  • Touristy but a convenient beautiful stop. Great motorcycle ride
