  • This ski resort is small compared to Mammoth but is MUCH closer to LA and the High Desert. It has great slopes with wide berth, small jumps for the adventurous, black diamond runs and plenty of runs f...  more »
  • We came right at the heart of ski season expecting it to be a huge crowd but, if you get there early, its actually pretty easy to get equipped and up the slopes in no time. We got there right as the t...  more »

  • This place is horrible. If I could, I would rate this zero stars. My entire family put in 2 hours just to face the disappointment. It has the best snow, but you are forced to do one of LITERALLY two options. You could only ski or snowboard down the slope. If you wanted to play with snow in general (make snowballs, snow angels, etc.) YOU CANNOT. The people are totally against the idea of traditional ways to play with snow. They seem to have a one-track mind with how they plan their “fun”. It is as if their motto is “The only way for anyone to play with our top-notch snow is to do what we offer only.” Basically, it is a money-grab.
  • Everyone should be Aware. It took me a year and 8 months to write this review. Beware of the unsafe ski lifts and the operators running them. They will make you sign your life away in the waiver so if you die they will not be held accountable even if negligence was in play. My brother and sister n law, both very experienced skiers took to the lift... lift came way to quick and pushed them over and my brother got on but my sister n law was dangling. She could not get up. Multiple people yelling for the operator to stop and no response. She couldn’t not hold on any longer and fell 20 feet down. My brother still going full speed on the lift, helpless to help his wife, had to go all the way up and snowboard down to her. Sister n law said she was there for quite some time and the people who came to her tried to lift her up!!! So there goes training out the door there. My sister n law is a nurse and told them to stop. Ambulance came and took her away. Long really long surgery, 100 staples along her spine, completely shattered vertebrae and being told you may not have any feeling or control waists down permanently. After surgery she took a turn for the worst and had a massive infection which she recovered thank god! After all this time, she still has no control over her bowels- yes she has to catheter herself every time. She will never be able to pick up her kids. She will never be the same. We are very lucky to have her alive and walking slowly but surely. This changed all of our lives. Th point is the to put out the awareness and ask where was the humanity in this situation? Never heard from this place... they denied anything. Well I guess they should have safer lifts at least. To think the kids were going to go on this trip, thank goodness the little one didn’t want to go and both stayed with grandma. It was my brothers birthday that day, you could only imagine what those kids went through waiting up for their dad with a homemade cake. They didn’t come home that night, they didn’t come home for a long time.
  • Slope are pretty good, considering I visited in 60+ degree weather (4 stars). Most slopes were closed, and some lifts were closed. Rental process was smooth and fairly quick. Created snow was pretty good in the am, but very icy beginning around 11 to noon. The Big Pines BBQ is so terribly slow that it drags the resort's rating down. The restaurant's staff were unfriendly and the wait was horrendous. It took 45 minutes to serve 20 people in line. Go for the cafeteria instead and you'll be fine.
  • This place was so fun. It was my first time here. We came with some of our dear friends that come all the time. I wasn't too good at snowboarding but my husband picked it up in no time. They have this cool little bar with a fire pit and heaters. They only have hard liquor. No wine. ): they have alot of sitting areas and we'll as a little store for you to purchase snacks.
  • I went when they had man made snow and it was pretty legit still. employees are super and chill. although the ones they work the ticket station where kinda slow. still a good place .
