  • My recent visit left me with sticker shock! I picked blueberries and when cashing out found out they were $6 a pound. No price shown anywhere prior to picking. My usual place in RI charges $3 a...  more »
  • A+++ Worth a visit. Homemade donuts (old style), apple picking, winter squash, ice cream. Just lovely.  more »
  • We have been going to the Big Apple for many years and have never been disappointment by the quality of their product or reasonableness of their prices. The pies are as good as grandma used to make.  more »

  • 1st time there. I loved it. Great for families and little kids. We took the hay ride, it's a must do.
  • Super fun stop with the family. Fantastic food. Cash only so stop at the ATM before you come to avoid the steep fees there.
  • A bit disappointing this time around. This was our third trip to The Big Apple. As usual we purchased the large half bushel bag for $35 and eagerly walked over to start picking. Quickly we realized only 5 rows with only 3 varieties of apples were available for picking. All of the other trees were roped off. For the most part only unripe Macintosh were available. Feet away were trees filled with beautiful ripe apples but nobody could get to them. Some people tried to reach over the plastic fencing to get the ripe apples. I fully understand to rope off some areas but to limit it on a weekend to just 5 rows with 3 varieties most of which were unripe was very disappointing especially when fully ripe bountiful trees were just feet away.
  • It was pouring so we drove up instead of our usual ride up from them ($3 a person on top of buying bags for $35 each). It was nice on way down so the kids rode on tractor to go down. We had a large group and probably spent about 90 per family. And they were so rude and made each kid pay 1.50 for the ride down the hill. We go here every year. They get a lot of money from us and we always pay for the ride on the tractor. You would think with the circumstances of pouring rain they would let us ride down for free.. it isnt.like it was busy. Not impressed. And, hardly any apples to pick.
  • Great place to spend a couple hours checking out the shop and picking apples. Be aware that it is cash only, but there is an ATM in the store.
