  • Good historical sites with lost of activities
  • Extraordinary Victorian cottage with perfectly preserved interiors This cottage was the summer house of the Bowen family, wealthy dry good merchants in NYC. Built in the fashionable board-and-batten style, and painted in a surprising pink (its local nickname is the Pink House), it has preserved its mid-19th century interiors and furnishings, as well as its outbuildings, including the oldest indoor bowling alley in North America. Good tour -- though I would have liked to be able to photograph the interiors. Extraordinary!
