  • This small gem is placed in a very special place. the first aquarium in the US and it is free. Make sure to go up stairs and see the top of the tanks. Take time to read the walls-very clear informatio...  read more »
  • Small but wonderful educational aquarium. Worth a visit! many interesting exhibits. The kids will love it as much as the adults. and it's free!
  • I thoroughly enjoy the Woods Hole Aquarium. It is small with not a lot of fish yet what there is a lot since there is no other way to see these fish if one does not fish or scuba dive. The colors are ...  read more »
  • Can't beat free - but parking is atrocious. There is no parking lot - so drive around & bring your parallel parking skills; I never leave home without them - but heads up and bring quarters. The seal show is cool and fish inside are neat; especially the venomous fish tank.
  • A really great, little museum for kids. The museum opens every day at 11 a.m. with a feeding and demonstration with the two seals who live outside. The kids love it. Inside, kids can see all kinds of fish that live in the nearby bays, harbors and ocean. There is even an opportunity for kids to have a hands-on experience with crabs and fish. There are also a lot of informative displays to keep adults' attention. Best of all - it's free!
  • Terrible parking situation in the entire town. They have no municipal parking and vigorously ticket tourists. Town is biased toward residents who have permits to park. Took hours to find a meter. Would not return to any business or museum in Woods Hole. Gave a few stars because museum is free and has a good selection of fish.
  • A charmingly proportionate aquarium for Woods Hole. Good informational displays as well as viewing tanks with a variety of handsome local sea life. Nice scale model of a larger sea turtle is in the main hall. Don't miss the upstairs area with a hands-on tank that kids will appreciate.
  • This is a quick stop if you are biking and need a break. It is well maintained, free and a variety of fish to see! It was very crowded when we went but still worth it if you have 15 minutes to spare!
