  • A really great, little museum for kids. The museum opens every day at 11 a.m. with a feeding and demonstration with the two seals who live outside. The kids love it. Inside, kids can see all kinds of fish that live in the nearby bays, harbors and ocean. There is even an opportunity for kids to have a hands-on experience with crabs and fish. There are also a lot of informative displays to keep adults' attention. Best of all - it's free!
  • Can't beat free - but parking is atrocious. There is no parking lot - so drive around & bring your parallel parking skills; I never leave home without them - but heads up and bring quarters. The seal show is cool and fish inside are neat; especially the venomous fish tank.
  • Terrible parking situation in the entire town. They have no municipal parking and vigorously ticket tourists. Town is biased toward residents who have permits to park. Took hours to find a meter. Would not return to any business or museum in Woods Hole. Gave a few stars because museum is free and has a good selection of fish.
  • A wonderful place to learn, explore, and play up close with some marine life. Great for all ages, everyone had a fun time.
  • A charmingly proportionate aquarium for Woods Hole. Good informational displays as well as viewing tanks with a variety of handsome local sea life. Nice scale model of a larger sea turtle is in the main hall. Don't miss the upstairs area with a hands-on tank that kids will appreciate.
