  • Very educational, interesting, fun, and a great place to get kids interested in oceanography.
  • Kids loved it and me too. Love going back here
  • Fun, free, educational. Take the Ferry to Martha's too.
  • After a visit to Martha's Vineyard, instead of getting the ferry back to Hyannis,we decided to go to Woods Hole.I'm so glad we did as the museum was very interesting. We stayed 2 nights & walked up & down the hill to our digs several times. There is a maritime museum down the hill that is full of antique & vintage sailing gear. The gentleman who showed us through was very helpful, explaining what many of the bits & bobs were for. We are from N.Z.And at the time of the grounding of the Rena on the Astrolabe reef,it was great to read of WHOI's involvement in the disaster. I'd love to revisit some day.
  • Albeit small, the Woods Hole visitor center has some very nice displays and is educational. I hope to revisit it after they expand the center.
