  • This place is an amazing piece of history. On the day we went, they were giving away free food. They were grinding the flour right there and giving bags of it away. There were different breads that they made out of the flour. They were giving all that away too. The place was staffed with volunteers who knew a lot about the history of the place. This is a great place to take your kids. It's educational. Sorry but I didn't take any pictures that day.
  • Sweet little place. It offers cider pressing in the fall and is still functioning to make flour. I took my class here on a field trip and the volunteers and staff were great.
  • This is one of our favorite, free weekend destinations. The area around the mill is beautiful and photogenic - bring the good camera gear. The Mill is lovingly restored. The volunteers share the history of the mill and the surrounding areas. You can get freshly milled flour and cornmeal for a small donation. The end of October is their cider pressing event - a must do for some tasty fresh cider. Visit in early Autumn for lovely changing trees and spawning salmon jumping the falls.
  • It only took one visit for Cedar Creek Grist Mill to land on my favorites list for this area. Be sure to make an opportunity for the weekend tour and demonstration - and buy some freshly ground flour! And don't pass up a chance to enjoy a friendly and informative chat with one of the faithful volunteers. A scenic and charming must-see destination. Picnic tables along the trail opposite the mill make for a unique picnic locale. I'm always ready to go back.
  • Nice find! Unfortunately, we didn't go inside for the actual tour due to it being closed on the day we went.. But wow, it was cool to walk and see.
