We stopped here for a picnic lunch. Beautiful well maintained park. Short 1 mile or so flat easy walk around the lake. Great place for a quite lunch.

We took a back road up to the Denver area just to take in the scenery. Stretched our legs. It is just so beautiful with the lake frozen, very few people around and so peaceful. Just relax in nature...

Costs $8 and it's worth every penny. Beautiful, serene, and scenic. Family friendly with picnic tables so pack a lunch!

Good little spot to spend a relaxing day. Very family-friendly including a couple easy walking trails. Interesting rock formations can be found near the west end of the parking. There are nice shady picnic areas but there isn’t a lot of trees around the lake itself. Fair amount of parking considering the size. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms are pit toilets.

Beautiful park with a nice size lake. Very relaxing. We caught a couple of fish but they were small. It was a good day trip 😊
