  • What a great place! Clean, friendly, educational and Fun! Staff is helpful and informative. They have well over 100 different rentals to pick from. The staff was fun and happy to help with any questions or issues. There were plenty of staff in the Range. They're building a New Range next door to accommodate more ports and classes, with a museum. They also do parties and events! Pretty cool. May have to do a company outing here. One of the, if not the nicest Ranges I have been to!
  • Guns For Hire is the safest gun range I have ever been to. Very helpful staff, clean facility, and high standards of safety. They're also mandarin-friendly with forms and instruction available in mandarin! The only thing is that the place is advertised as only costing $25 for non-members, but includes a billion hidden costs. It's $25 for an hour of shooting, $25 for 15 minute instruction, bullets range from $14-$30, one gun rental is $20, ears and eye protection rental is $7. I went in expecting to pay around $25, but ended up paying $100. Worth the safety, but I don't think I would have gone if I knew the true price.
  • I love this place! Its worth every penny. ALL the staff members are professionals, kind, respectful and take the time to explain. I'm a member and will continue to be. Be respectful to their rules and you'll have a great time.
  • Saturday was my first time at a shooting range ever. Our instructor was Mike Adis. He was excellent. I went with my mother who had a hard time getting used to the rules, and poor Mike stayed by her side the entire time. He never made her feel rushed, he explained things well and guided her through every step. We had a great time for first timers, and the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because I do think it is expensive (Keep in mind it was my first time, and I don't know if all ranges costs about the same). It was worth it but expensive, and the 15 minuet intro for first timers takes away from your precious hour. I did almost drive by it because the sign in front does not say Gun for hire, only the cars on the side of the ally way leading to the parking lot did. So keep your eyes peeled from the road way. Otherwise, great place and really nice people all throughout.
  • The place is nice but the wait is so long, it makes you hate going there. I waited for 1/2hr. just to get to the cash register. Let that sink in......1/2 hr to get to the register and pay them to shoot for 1 hr. At this point I just said "F-it" and just left. I told the receptionist at the door and she said that they have peaks and lulls and that they are expanding to have more lanes....... She followed that up by " in the last few days, the wait was 4 hrs." That's when I just about lost it and I told her" how does opening up more lanes help anyone get to the register faster? To follow, if you got to the register and they told you the wait is 4 hrs. then the customer makes the choice of whether he wants to stay or go, if he cant even get tot he register in a timely manner, then you have no idea what customer service is." She gave me the face of confusion and my son and I left. If you're a competent and safe shooter, do yourself a favor and try somewhere else as it seems customer service in a place is more under attack than then Jersey gun rights.
