  • A very well maintained Virginia State Park, and National Wildlife Reserve right off of US RT 1, just south of Woodbridge, VA. It is family oriented with picnic tables and Pavilions. There are trails that are accessible to Mobility Scooters and trails that are for walking, some leading along the waterfront, some into the lowlands with wooden boardwalks, and some into the woods. This a place my wife and I visit almost weekly. I do recommend it. We an annual pass and have been enjoying this Park for many years.
  • This is a great place to visit with your SO. It is a nice little beach area but also has a dock that takes you out into the water and into Maryland. There are also some nice trails to go on. The only real complaint would be the bugs and smells in certain areas. But over all, definitely a great park!
  • SOO much space to play with a pet, or kid, and theres a tiny beach thats PERFECT for the summer heat, and enterance fee is cheap. Love this place.
  • A hidden gym. Love this local place. Not far at all. Boating ramp. Camping ground. Fishing, hiking and trails. Night time ist great with a v good camera.
  • A nice park to take the family for an afternoon or evening picnic. Great hiking opportunities, plenty of amenities to keep the kids occupied for a few hours, and great views across the Potomac. Also a good place to take family photos.
