  • A very well maintained Virginia State Park, and National Wildlife Reserve right off of US RT 1, just south of Woodbridge, VA. It is family oriented with picnic tables and Pavilions. There are trails that are accessible to Mobility Scooters and trails that are for walking, some leading along the waterfront, some into the lowlands with wooden boardwalks, and some into the woods. This a place my wife and I visit almost weekly. I do recommend it. We an annual pass and have been enjoying this Park for many years.
  • A hidden gym. Love this local place. Not far at all. Boating ramp. Camping ground. Fishing, hiking and trails. Night time ist great with a v good camera.
  • I Love this park because my kids can do swim in it. Water looks decent, lots of Trees for your Hammack, BBQ Grills. Party shelters.. plenty of space for all..Bike, and jogging trails. Much more. Come check out it out for your self you won't be disappointed.

  • Small state park with good water views, a fishing pier and marina. Great for picnicking and short walks through the woods, nothing strenuous but one can do several miles of hiking. Picnic area has playground for kids. Park has small sand beach and limited swimming along the shoreline. History buffs will enjoy the walk over the bluffs. Boat lovers will enjoy the marina. Trains buffs will enjoy trains passing over a viaduct and through the park.
