Fun & Games
G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium is a stadium in the Coles Magisterial District of Prince William County, Virginia. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Potomac Nationals minor league baseball team. It was built in 1984. The stadium is located near the McCoart Government Center, the offices of the Prince William County Service Authority and the Sean Connaughton Community Plaza. It holds 6,000 people.ImprovementsAfter the 2011 season, the field was redone to upgrade it to MLB specifications, as the previous field failed to meet those standards. This was done due to moving a series because of unsafe conditions.2012 FireA one-alarm fire caused by an inside gas leak destroyed the facility's business offices on June 29, 2012. There were no fatalities or injuries. Other parts of the stadium, including the concession stands one level below the offices, were not damaged. The fire put the Nationals' mascot Uncle Slam out of action for the remainder of the Carolina League season.

  • It is hard to beat minor league baseball for a family-friendly outing. The team seems to be kid-focused with all of the games and special events in which kids participated. Immediately upon arrival yo...  more »
  • PNats are a well managed team and provides a fun evening. Food and beverages are typical of stadium food. We attend numerous games each year. Looking forward to the new stadium coming.  more »
  • Well it isn't cricket that is for sure! The Potomac Nats won the game so hurrah for that! This was a Tuesday night game and was by no means full. However it was good fun with a good atmosphere (with t...  more »

  • My family and I love going to P-Nats games. The staff is very professional and accommodating. I don't like $1.00 beer night (because people can't handle their beer), but the rest of the experience is awesome!
  • The tickets could have been a little bit cheaper, parking was 6 bucks in cash, and grandstand seats were 11 bucks. Overall, I think this is a nice place but I would of rate this 5 stars if the tickets were cheaper.
  • Where else can you go to see a baseball game, get a beer and a hot dog for about $20. Love coming here to watch games. Bring a hat and sunscreen if it's sunny!
  • Beautiful, old Minor League experience. Great people
  • Great minor league ball park. The stadium needs a little updating, but you can't beat the feel of minor league ball. Also, they have nice give-aways and usually have fireworks on the weekends. The only minus is the home team stands face into the sun on summer evenings. The visiting team stands aren't much better. I recommend it!
