  • It may look small from the outside but don't be fooled, this 'Little Museum' is BIG inside with a treasure trove of information on WW II and especially how it was to live on the 'Home front' in the Ne...  more »
  • You must allow plenty of time here. Surprisingly at least two hours maybe three. Don't miss the time tunnel. Separate areas reflecting each year of WW11
  • Visited on off chance and was an interesting couple of hours. Starts with a video and then onto room of artefacts from the US home front, then through each year of the war finishing up with the artefa...  more »

  • Great learning experience. My favorite part is the Norman Rockwell exhibit. I loved studying the covers and seeing what they said about the war in that given month. The whole place is worth a visit...or two...or three!
  • I was very surprised at what the museum has to offer. Much larger than it looks. Very nice displays of war era year by year. It really immerses you in the time span. Was nice to teach the kids about what was experienced during their grandparent's childhood.
  • We had a group of 8 ages 5-65 & everyone walked away with something. Sheldon, a Vietnam veteran, wecomed us with a brief orientation and a personal recount of his childhood memories during WWII. A short film sets the tone, and the displays flow seamlessly right though. Great stop.
  • A visit to the museum takes you back to before and during the war. There is plenty of cool war stuff there, including several tanks, but the memorabilia of the times is what puts you there. The time machine shows what was popular in each year, there are examples of what a living room, kitchen and dentist office looked like, along with the war propoganda. Worth a visit!
  • Incredible restored rolling stock collection, and a unique museum in that it provides a good deal of focus on the Homefront and everyday life in the period.
