  • Daughter and I made the trip here to check out the bluffs. Parking was $5 unless you have a state park pass. Unfortunately the day we went, the area had gotten some rain the week prior and trails...  more »
  • My wife and I decided to explore along Lake Ontario today and spent a couple hours hiking along the top of the bluffs and along the shore. Pictures of a faded map of the park trails, a couple...  more »
  • Picnic area was nice! Appreciated the paved trail to the area also, although it only went out so far and then it switches to gravel. I have a scooter and it was hard to ride on the gravel. The map of....  more »
  • There are lots of beautiful places in New York state and this is one of them. Wonderful surroundings, beautiful land scape created by nature. Nice trail and picnic area, beautiful beach but not for swimming. Nice colorful rocks. You can stay here for a long time. Must visit.....
  • Chimney Bluffs state park is a great place to go if you wanna get away into the wilds of the finger lake region. Lots of trails and nature and safe to bring the kids. • I love my neighborhood. I have lived in a lot of places in the US, but no place has felt as much like home as here. Lots of nice trails. Hardly any people and I could kayak to Canada if the fancy took me. There is a little known parking spot on garner road that will let you walk to the bluffs nice and easy. Its longer than the trail that starts at the parks, but not near as steep.
  • Great spot for a short walk to the edge of the bluffs from the parking area or take the East West trail for a nice long walk (difficult in spots ) distance varies but 4 miles plus through the woods to the bluffs. Not for children or handicapped. Shore trail was closed early September.
  • On Sunday I was able to go t Chimney Bluff State Park with my friend Sherry and her dog Donut. It was amazing even though we walked about 7 or more miles. I must visit more state parks before fall.
