  • The colors on the published maps are somewhat faded and hard to differentiate one trail from the other on the map, but besides that, very well maintained and at least during the week not overly busy. ...  read more »

  • Nice place for camping. We had booked electrical campsite but it was not big enough. It was suitable for RVs but we were there for tent camping. We called the office and Ranger stopped by within 10-15 mins. She gave us option for changing the campsite and luckily we got campsite 94. Also they refunded the amount difference. There was enough space for three tents and we had good time over there. Store is just 2 mins away where you can purchase wood, ice etc. We have an incident. During dark night someone was animals were out there and they were disturbing our stuffs kept outside. We were scared but finally found that it was raccoons. So please do not leave any food outside. Beautiful sunrise on lakeshore. However beach is rocky and not good for swimming but you may play in water.
  • Spent three days here camping. A lot of the trails are paved for handicap accessibility. There are showers and flush toilets at the camp sites. Really nice place to relax.
  • One of the BEST, if not THE BEST State Parks in Wisconsin. Quiet, relaxed, and the camp store has everything you'll need. Climb to the top of the tower and do some jumping jacks.
  • We stayed at a hotel right on the edge of the park and took a quick short walk through park of the forest.
  • simply amazing. loved it.
