  • We go to the Dells every couple of summers with my inlaws. It's a group of 11 and we have stayed at The Lake and the condos. We loved both places! Lots of room for all of us to sleep, eat and relax. W...  more »
  • Fun was had by all, there is something to do for everyone. Rooms are large an very comfortable and fit at least 7 people just fine.
  • Perfect family getaway. So much to do! While a day or 2 is perfect at Great Wolf Lodge, 3 or more days is best to take in everything that Wilderness Territory offers, even in the winter. The indoor wa...  more »

  • Meant to write a review about this place a few months earlier, but never got around to it. Anyway, stayed here in August and our family had lots of fun! I felt like a kid again with the indoor and outdoor water park and had a blast on the slides and wave pools. My son really enjoyed the wild west area as did all the children. I love the swim up Margarita bar and the rooms were nice and clean. Hope to visit here again!!! Great place for family vacation.
  • I went to the Wilderness in January 2016 and it was awesome! There are so many things to do and not enough time, and the 3 different water parks doesn't help. The wave pool has to be my favorite water park, the crashing waves and the giant pool are absolutely awesome. The dueling mammoths slide is one of my favorites and you should definitely give it a try. The Hurricane is one of the highlights as well, but that is only for the bigger kids and adults because I am 13 and I was petrified. Finally there is the Wild West Water Park, if you like body slides then you have heaven in Wisconsin Dells. Also the rooms are spacious and the entire hotel is extremely clean. There are also lots of great restaurants in the area, shout out to the Mouse Jaw, and the rooms are not too expensive. All in all The Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells is one of the best, if not the best Resort in the Wisconsin Dells Area.
  • We've been coming here for a couple years now and our family and friends love it. We've down the condo, the townhouse, and the cabin. I'd skip the condo to reduce all the walking because the shuttle service is great. Food has been okay, but we generally cook for ourselves when we come.
  • Our group was from ages 3 to 69, there were so many options for each of us for food, beverages and water-rides. The hotel, condo and villa that we have stayed at have all been equally beautifully decorated and designed. The detached 3 bedroom villa was the quietest of the three, but plan for more walking or waiting for a shuttle. The 2 bedroom condo did have a bit more of the footstep noise from kids racing to their next water-ride (can't blame them for that, way to much fun to fit into a trip). The regular hotel room was perfect for being close to everything. The hotels rooms are between the water parks and the hallways can get a bit busy on rainy days or during the winter. Having it between the water parks also make it convenient to stop in your own room for quick rest and snack before heading back to the water. All three room types were perfect!
  • Calling for reservations and the phone staff was not friendly, also checked the resort out over the summer and the front desk help was unhelpful with looking up any information for our up coming stay in December. I would also like to think that with spending nearly 300 dollars they would have a breakfast voucher at a discount, I'm guessing service towards customers is a thing of the past. My wife and I won't be going to the same place again. That's a shame for any resort to have unhelpful employees. The resort owners should be looking into this matter
