  • Great water parks with lots of activities for the whole family. But be careful, the concessions are $$$.  more »
  • Excellent accommodations at Wilderness on the Lake, which is right on Lake Delton. You can get shuttled free to the Wilderness water parks from this condo hotel. They do have a very nice infinity pool...  more »
  • There is so much to do here. There are three buildings with 3 separate waterparks indoor and outdoor which make this awesome! There are a couple arcades with attractions as well such as mini golf, arc...  more »

  • My husband and I brought our two children here for a long Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! We stayed at the Wilderness hotel and found it to be a great location for visiting the waterparks. We were right in the middle of everything and there is a ton of stuff to do! This is of course a touristy resort so food and activities are a bit pricey but not more than expected. There were a lot of people here but not so many to make it feel overly crowded and everywhere we went in the resort the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Every water park we went to had a great lifeguard to swimmer ratio and they were all very attentive and professional. The hotel room we stayed in was fairly basic but it was very clean and perfect for what we needed since we didn't spend a lot of time in it. This was our first time at Wilderness and if we are ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again!
  • What a place to stay!!! So much to do in one place! You never have to leave! They have great deals on meals that can be delivered to your room or pool side if you choose. They had an unlimited pass when we were there for all to get into like 5 or 6 things for unlimited amounts of times, otherwise you have to pay each time. We got our money's worth just in the go carts- which I must add are INDOORS!!! Great cook season place to stay and it looks to be a really cool place to stay in the summer with the outdoor water parks. There are 8 total water parks- 4 inside and 4 outdoors.
  • Been here three times, always a great experience. It's our mini vacation destination. They have everything you need, and stuff you didn't think you needed. In my opinion, it's much better than the Kalahari and the outside parks make it comparable to a mini Noah's Ark.
  • We had a great time staying at the wilderness. We had a 2 bedroom villa, it was super spacious and clean. Nice view from the back, you had a patio on the first level and two balconies on the second level. They were quiet and fairly private. The set up for the waterpark is really good, lots of options for all age ranges.
  • Great time, not quite as advertised. We (myself, wife and son (4)) had a great time. We enjoyed the facilities, swimming, games, lazer tag, mini golf, sky rope course and had a lot of fun. Very reasonable price for the unlimited wrist bands as they are good for your whole stay. Unbeknownst to us they had a portion of the parks closed for repairs and cleaning or something so not all of the water parks and activities were made available which was a bummer. I tried booking online to take advantage of a $50 gift card to spend at the resort but it wouldn't book so i called and was assured they would take care of it but when we arrived they had no note of it and I was left embarrassed as the lady explained she has no idea what I was talking about. No buffets during the week which was a let down too for us. We love buffets. The highlight of our time though was the sky rope course and Mike the attendant who worked there. He got my son to have the best time and to try all of course and my son is pretty scared of everything. He really made our stay very enjoyable. Most of the staff was very nice however he seemed to want to go above and beyond to make sure we had fun and felt safe. So all in all I would have given 5 stars had those few discrepancies not happened and still those discrepancies arent enough to keep me from going back.
