  • Trolley tour stopped here for lunch. Last yr we were here n they had 3 options to choose from, which was fine. This yr was a buffet. Salad n sandwiches. Which is difficult if you are not suppose to ea...  more »
  • We played a few days after heavy rain - the course was very soft and wet. A beautiful course, definitely challenging. Would like to play again when it is drier.  more »
  • Lots of hype! Conditions weren't great and the service wasn't good. No one said "hi" or said anything. I had to ask for everything. No service! Range was brutal! Bad grass and bad balls!  more »

  • We've been playing at Trappers Turn every summer for the last 5 years. We'll play all three 9 hole courses in a day, and return to do it all over again. The course is unique for the Midwest, and every hole is a unique challenge. The staff is top notch as well, often working with my family for additional rounds. Overall it's hands down my favorite course in The Dells, and should be mentioned with the top dogs in Wisconsin. While I think Wild Rock is interesting, I found the staff over there to not even hold a candle to Trappers Turn. Do yourself a favor and save the money at Wild Rock, play here instead.
  • This challenging 27 hole course makes you keep it in the fairway or risk posting a double bogey on each hole so club selection is key and the greens are freaky fast...
  • This gorgeous golf course has a wonderful restaurant that serves yummy lunches, a Friday Fish Fry that keeps the place packed with locals, a fabulous Prime Rib on both Friday & Saturday, and a grand Sunday Bunch. And did I mention, the place is beautiful and the bar tenders are great.
  • Expensive and diverse menu. Drinks were outstanding, food was poor. One person in my party had slimy fried chicken when they ordered grilled so it was sent back. My food was cold and not special. I could've made it myself and I'm not a good cook. The fish fry was fishy. We also waited a very long time for our food and drinks.
  • Christmas buffet not worth it: little pieces of frozen-thawed salmon, fatty ribeye and bland mashed potatoes - do yourself a favor and cook a meal at home instead. Will cost half and taste twice as good. Also don't order bloody Mary if you go there, it's really bad.
