  • We played a few days after heavy rain - the course was very soft and wet. A beautiful course, definitely challenging. Would like to play again when it is drier.
  • Lots of hype! Conditions weren't great and the service wasn't good. No one said "hi" or said anything. I had to ask for everything. No service! Range was brutal! Bad grass and bad balls!
  • We had a two team scramble match. They had quite a bit of rain the day of, and the day before. There was lots of casual water in fairway. With even cart path only, play went fairly quick. Beverage car...  more »

  • I had Friday Fish Fry. The salad and soup bar was a hit. Loved it. We did not have a reservation and they had a seat to offer. Less then 10 minute wait. I would have liked my veggies sauteed instead of steamed or boiled.
  • Positive experiences all the times I've been here. Friendly staff, course is well-maintained. Decent rates and usually there are some specials run online. Highly recommended for golfers of all levels.
  • Course was in rough shape when I golfed there. Probably would be really nice if it were taken care of better. Course layout was good though. Fairly challenging. First time I went there they wouldn't even let me I'm because I forgot a collared shirt.
  • Just beautiful! One of my favorite courses. Great service!
  • Horrible Customer Service! Back in June of 2015, Myself and four very close friends stayed at the Kalahari Resort and decided to enjoy three courses in the Dells area. We played Wild Rock, Northern Bay Resort and Trappers Turn. Unfortunately, the day we played Trappers turn, we only got to hole #3 before it absolutely down poured on us. After spending $427.00 on 5 rounds of golf, three of us decided to take a rain-check since we lived in the greater Milwaukee area and could come back to enjoy the course on a better day. That day I took a picture of my receipt for $85.40 in case I lost the tiny piece of paper they gave us. Today I called so make sure the complete picture I have of my receipt would work and they told me since it is not the original sheet of paper, they cannot do a thing about it and that I am out the $85.40 I spent on that round. The individual I spoke with brought up our tee time in their system and confirmed that we played that day but insisted there was nothing they could do. My brother and I were planning on coming back with two new players because we were excited to explore the course but, we will not be going there since they will not honor my receipt. I will continue to turn away as much business as I can because the customer service and tone I received on the phone was one I would never use with any of my clients in the real world. Is the $85.40 really worth more than continued business and people spreading the word about your company? The thing is, they are not even giving anything away because they have already collected the money. Where is the customer service these days? What happened to people trusting each other? To me, this is an absolute joke. It may not hurt their business financially but it will hurt their reputation. To have other great courses with amazing customer service as direct competitors, I would highly recommend you choosing one of those courses where they value you as their customer!
