My husband and I went here this past weekend for a day trip to the Dells from Madison. It was absolutely incredible! We got to feed over 20 species of animals including camels, giraffes, parakeets, go...  more »

Stopped here for a couple hours one afternoon during vacation. The back area with open areas for animals is nice. Front part of park is kind of sad with several animals in small cages. Some good hands...  more »

What a waste of money. The train ride was a good experience. It was descriptive, the animals were easy to see, staff very friendly. The zoo, or "wildlife park" was NOT worth it. They boasted 75 different species and we saw 7. It was a pretty park but everything was so far apart. I wanted to take the kids to the petting zoo and when we got there it was the same two animals from the train ride. There was a nursery they said and when we got there there was a baby kangaroo that the lady said we had to pay an additional $10 to see so we skipped that. The penguins were off display, the tigers were 'missing' (management swears they should have been out but that enclosure looked empty to us...) the train was $10/person and the zoo $20. I asked for my money back for the zoo portion but was denied.

At first thought, I was not really interested in going to this establishment. Having received free tickets, we went to see this. After seeing this, I am very happy to say that I am glad we went. I was expecting a place that did not treat the animals fairly, with little cages and unkept conditions. After seeing first hand their work, I am a supporter. A small park but the people are trying to add an improvement every year. I believe that they have been in this location for 4 years presently. At first I thought the admission was a little high for what I would find, but I would be willing to go again. I think I'll attempt to make this a yearly ritual to see the changes come about. I recommend this attraction.

Feeding the different animals was a very nice experience for my three children. The birds were fun and the giraffe was super cool. However I was a little disappointed in the set up of the place it seemed really generic and like the animals were just thrown in there with little concern to their natural habitats and their comfort.

Everything is very spread out! The animals didn't cone up to us on the train. The animals seem to have small enclosures. My daughter loved being able to feed animals and see them up close. We probably won't go back. and if we do we won't spend money on the train ride.

Save yourself the heart break. Go to a real zoo and see happy animals in proper enclosures. This is just some horrible cash grab. The Lions need trees and clean water, penguins need filtrated water, zebras need a water hole or something, even some trees. Giraffes look friendly and enticing but are kept in horrible conditions. The birds seemed cool but you can't see behind the scenes. The staff was particularly prissy and are all ignorant to the well being of these wild and beautiful animals.
