  • LOVED the water park. HATED the room we got (they have properties all over the town, don't expect to stay to where you can walk to the park from your hotel). I should not expect much, we did get a great deal :) The water/amusement park was so big, we didn't even see it all in the 3 days we were there (the girls did spend a lot of time on the swings....). The best part was by staying on property, you could stay 3 hours later than regular guests. Not all rides are open but the really good ones are, with very little to no wait time. I loved having a DJ at the wave pool (which is a MUST see). The park is completely smoke free. It is a hike and found very little people in wheelchairs as I can see it must be hard to maneuver up and down the hills. If you stay there, plan on driving back and forth to the hotel. Food is not super expensive. You can leave the park to go to your car to eat if you don't want park food.
  • While my family and I had a marvelous time at the water and theme park my only complaint is their prices can be deceiving. I paid MORE to stay at their resort because all the advertisements made it seem like this wonderful deal that if you stayed there you'd get tickets to the park for free, a $45 value. I had found better pricing at some other hotels but figured I'd spend more if we didn't have the free passes so I booked with Mount Olympus. Upon arriving there are advertisements EVERYWHERE that the "Summer Special" for Mount Olympus parks were all day passes for $10. My family could have booked at the original hotel I wanted PLUS bought four park passes for less than we ended up paying at Mount Olympus Villages. On top of that they charge a $50 resort fee so that kind of defeats the purposes of getting into the parks for "free". Another issue was from 7pm-10pm the park is supposed to be resort guests only however I watched numerous people with regular day pass bracelets cut in front of me in various lines. Sometimes the staff would tell them they couldn't ride because it was after 7pm and other times the staff didn't care. It was a bummer that all rides didn't stay open, but, I had read that online so was prepared. All in all the park was great I just wish I hadn't been deceived on cost because I could have been more cost efficient on my vacation had I known.
  • Our first room had ants all over the floor. They moved us very quickly and the second room was clean with no bugs. The indoor theme park no longer has the roller coaster or go carts, the website is misleading. There was not a single decent restaurant there. I would not return unless it was summer when they have more to offer.
  • Great family get away! My family loves Poseidon's Rage. The most intense wave pool experience. Lines for the roller coasters look short, but they move very slowly since there is only one train on one track running at a time. The park has great Go Karting, but only one track for drivers under 55", which was a bummer for my younger two kids, 10 and 7. Walking from one end of the park to the other end is quite a hike. This resort used to be two independent parks at one time. Make sure you are prepared for the walking. All in all, great diversity of coasters, go karts, and water attractions to keep everyone busy and happy.
  • This place was amazing we went this past weekend. I took my mother and 3 daughters 4, 7 and 11. Pros: Price, indoor outdoor water park, rides included, other attractions cheap price. Alcoholic beverages (lime-a-rita). Something that the whole family could enjoy. The resort rooms are nice and spacious. Hardwood floors. Staff at the resort and park was nice and helpful. Cons: the resort looks creepy on the outside I was very leery about staying there, happy I looked at the inside first. 10:30am check out that's to early. Water park water freezing cold. Trying to book it was a hassle with the sales rep. I definitely would recommend this to everyone, especially a big family on a tight budget
