  • Lack of supervision and rule enforcement by staff caused hard collision at end of ride. My grandson ended up with busted lip and I endured neck and back injuries.  more »
  • I miss the days of old when go-karts were "opened up" more. They're so governed down nowadays that they aren't all that fun. The price here is nice, $3/person. The bodies on these karts are unlike any...  more »
  • Whenever we are in the Dells, we always make it a point to try & stop here.. The price is right, the kids (and adults) have a great time.. If you drive just a little further down on the same side of t...  more »

  • Two-person carts need a cushion installed to protect young rider's heads during collisions! We were stopped on the track due to an accident in front of us, got rear-ended by a kid traveling full speed, and my daughter's head bounced off the rear section of the kart (whiplash motion into the kart body with no cushion in place to soften the impact). Her head impacted the hard plastic/fiberglass kart body with enough force that she had a golf-ball-sized welt on the back of her head by the time we got parked. The staff there were very nice and they had instant ice packs available at the ticket booth...but why not install a cushion to prevent this type of injury? It's aggravating to see this kind of kart design. We put our little ones in the jump seat next to us; we have a headrest of sorts, but our kids have nothing behind their heads. Poor kart design, but easy enough to modify if the owner's cared enough to do it. Other than the potential for head injuries to our small children, it's a very nice track. The staff was nice. The karts ran well. Fun until your child ends up with a concussion. .
  • DO NOT GO. Employees are lazy, the rules aren't enforced, and there are NO seat-belts. Unless you want to be rammed a couple of different times WITHOUT there being any consequences for the other driver, I'd advise you to spend your money elsewhere. When the kart in front of me started to die, the kart behind me rammed into us. Guess what? He was on his CELL PHONE! The rules clearly state that cameras and cell phones are not allowed to be used on the track. He was able to drive off freely. Also, the employees didn't help us when our karts were stuck, even though there were clearly 6 or more of them around.
  • Great price but really unsafe. I took my 40 pound, 3'4", 3 year old. They told me she was big enough to ride with me. The brakes didn't work and it almost threw her out around the corner. There's no belts so the entire time im holding her. They block it off where you can't just stop. You continue going around until they remove the metal bar allowing you to go back to the pits. Great price but not good for younger kids as much as they say it is.
  • The workers did not seem to care to do there job, we went with another group. We had 2 boys way over 55" and heads above the line for you to check to make sure your tall enough to drive, yet they also measure you AFTER you buy your tickets and wait in line only to tell you your not tall enough! There stick at the gate is NOT the same height as the one at the ticket booth! Therefore I had to ride with each of our kids, not biggy except that the kids were disappointed and 1 time I rode we made 2 laps, then when took other turn we made 4. Not ran properly in my opinion and will spend time and money elsewhere next time! !
  • If I could rate this a 0, I most definitely would!! Do NOT waste your money going there! Yes, $3 is inticing, but unless you want to leave sore and injured, don't go!! Took our 5 year old, like we have done every year we come up here, and there was an accident in front of us. Some incompetent teenager rammed into us from behind, and kept going. No recourse whatsoever for people who bump into others, even though it says so on their loudspeaker. This same kid rammed into someone in the pits too, and wasn't told he couldn't come back. My daughter hit her head on the back of the go-kart, and I left with a very sore back. Amazingly enough, none of the 8 people working saw the accident happen, or the kid ran into the back of our kart. If you want to get hurt, then sure, this place is for you, but please, DO NOT take children in the karts with you, it is too dangerous! We will NEVER give Big Chief another shot! Find someplace else to drive go-karts!!
