  • I drove up to Pearrygin not knowing what to expect and I found a clean, gorgeous campground with excellent camp sites and tidy bathrooms. I'll be back.
  • The Pearrygin Lake State Park is located near Winthrop and is easy to reach by car. It is a beautiful area, you can walk, there is a campsite at the Lake, you can sail on the Lake. A lovely place to stay.

  • Have camped at Pearrygin state park for 30 years. It is our favorite campground to visit and the fishing is always first rate.
  • Wonderful park and lake for the kids and entire family. Lake is shallow enough to stay somewhat warm. The swimming area for the kids is in excellent shape with new ropes, buoys, sand to play in, plenty of picnic benches and large trees for shade. They keep the bathrooms clean and the showers are 50 cents for 3 minutes. The garbage and recycling bins are kept on great shape as well. Wish there was combined recycling though! Plenty of sites have lake access and the other sites are close to large grass fields. We love this park. Cheers!
  • Nice campsite on a lake. Really nice grass but not quite enough shade on hot days. Lake busy with jet skis and water skiing. Water quite warm in August. Close to Winthrop. Great place to check out.
  • Great place to camp if you're into campgrounds. The showers and bathrooms were clean, there's plenty of yard space to run around in, and lots of lake access for water activities. I'm more of a remote camping type of guy, but i would still recommend this place to friends.
  • The beach and swimming area were nice but after stayng in a few other state parks this trip Pearrygin has some catching up to do. The grounds are clean enough but grass needs some help. Park is nice but maybe from what I had heard about this place my expectations may have been too high. The groundskeeper from Steamboat Rock state park needs to show these guys how to do it.
  • Great camping- and boating place-only issue this year was ecoli in the water supply---2 weeks to fix it--unacceptable--we should have been notified of this before we left home to bring a truck full of water for a weeks stay
