Garden Nature / Park
Cobblestone paths, manicured hedges, and cypress canopies define Kraft Azalea Gardens. This public park spans 4 hectares (11 acres) and is bordered by a lake on its north and west sides. The lake features a small dock for fishing, and the park offers benches for picnicking. Trails here lead visitors through 2 hectares (5 acres) of a section covered by landscaped gardens. The park is also home to a picturesque monument--a greek exedra--a semicircle of white colonnades. The park's romantic appeal and peaceful atmosphere make it a popular spot for wedding and engagement pictures. • Free. Limited parking. Beautiful, huge trees. Paved walkway. Lots of access to Lake views. In May, saw some white Great Egrets in nests high in the trees. Peaceful. Well maintained.  more »

  • Stopped here during a Kayak trip. There was a shore we could pull our kayaks up on. Is a great place to watch the sunset. One person big clean bathroom. Very small park. Big beautiful cypress trees. Very shady park.
  • We took a group of kids here for lunch. It's a beautiful park. We had always heard it was a popular place for weddings and photo shoots. While we were there we saw both. We sat on benches to eat - no picnic tables.
  • I've been to this garden twice. The tree canopy is amazing and offers incredible shade on the hottest of days. Great for picnics. The lake view is very pretty and there are plenty of benches throughout the park.
  • Gorgeous garden in the middle of a secluded neighborhood filled with beautiful homes. There is a beautiful dock, lots of tall trees, and beautiful pillars, perfect for a photoshoot. Great place to take a stroll and watch the sun rise/set!
  • One of my favorite places. Go early while it's cool. Look for owls, among other birds
