Winter Park Resort, Winter Park

Must see · Ski Area · Wildlife Area
Skiing and snowboarding aren't the only activities offered at Winter Park Resort. The park consists of three mountain peaks, Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Vasquez Ridge, which all share a common lift ticket. Board an alpine sled, watch a mountain bike demo, or explore the Trestle bike park yourself with over 64 km (40 mi) of trails. Children will also enjoy the human maze, ziplines, and climbing walls. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in the resort or peruse the shops. A favorite spot is the Alpenglow massage spa where you can relax and unwind after a long day of adventuring. • We rode to the top and hikes for a few hours. The restaurant was open and was a perfect spot for our family member that could not hike. They had a drink and enjoyed the vibe at the top of the...  more »
  • The place is pretty cool. That said, we spent $520 for a group of 13 to play mini golf and for unlimited rides to the top of the mountain in the Gondala. Unfortunatly the gondala broke and was shut....  more »

  • Love it here, great family attractions. They have plenty to do including the alpine slide which is a ton of fun. Remember it is a family resort so they do have some costly things but for the most part is not bad at all and mostly reasonable. This park also has gorgeous panoramic views that you cannot get enough of. Highly recommended place to go, and they do have plenty of mountain biking trails here/hikes.
  • This resort definitely seems a little more family oriented than some others in Colorado. I enjoy it a lot all the same. I hadn't been there for quite a while before getting the Ikon pass last year, and parking was a little confusing at first. I found a go to spot in the dirt lot though and its all good now! Looking forward to another season there!
  • I worked at winter park for nearly 5 years during a time of major change and transition. Through it all the employees, community and guests all remained dedicated and full of energy and love for their beloved ski resort. I look forward to taking my daughter there to learn to ski and snowboard. Winter Park and the greater Grand County area will always hold a special place in my heart. If you need a ski resort vacation look no further. It will challenge you as a seasoned winter sports enthusiast and guide you along as a beginner. Update: 7-23-19 I got to take my 7 yr old daughter here for the first time this year. We made a summer trip to Grand County. It was my first time back in 17 yrs! I was blown away with all the improvements and new things to do. We had a blast and look forward to many more adventures at Winter Park.
  • Love this place. Winter or Summer I love it! Personally if you are going to be up here for both season get both season passes it will run you about 600 for both. Tons of runs in the winter and access to the gondola in the summer as well and a bunch of other perks and discount on things around the resort. Don't come here expecting a bargain you won't find one, this is a luxury town. But if you have the scratch it is worth it!
  • Lots of fun for a family. The summer single day pass seems overpriced. Just not enough activities to justify the expense. The Alpine Slide is a blast. But their are only a few other day pass activities beyond that. Why done stars??? This is one of my favorite resorts in the country in the winter. Amazing skiing options and plenty of slopes from beginner to expert. Overall, a fun atmosphere but my favorite time to visit is winter. With that in mind they are doing a good job of offering more reasons to visit in the summer!
