Played the Panther Lakes course [$110-ish] on a Friday mid-day. First 9 holes took 3 hours. I stopped to speak with starter at approx. 3pm and he told me "the 4th group out [that morning] backed every... more »
Im Orange National Center ist der Course Panther Lake eine eindrucksvolle Angelegenheit für begeisterte Golfspieler. Beautiful trees, great part heavily undulating fairways, huge bunkers stock and especially varied fairways. A higher kind of experience. A constraint must be mentioned: for women both courses are (cricket cat is the other of the two) only recommended if there is a corresponding basic length in beats. The fairways have considerable length to the part. It goes without saying, that it's no fun to the female partners of the game if the Greens in regulation are available.View original
Fantastic courses here, I'd prefer Black Panther over Crooked cat. However, this facility offers wonderful golf at a fair price, a must for the golf fanatic more »
Enjoyed the course layout. Pleasant staff and the golf rate that we received included lunch afterwards. Pace of play was extremely slow on the Panther Lake course (first 3 holes were played in 1 hour 15 minutes). Turns out that we were behind a group of 50 or so playing an event. Made the turn and the ranger offered to bring us to the Crooked Cat course back nine so we didn't have to continue to wait. Staff went out of their way to make sure 18 holes were played in a reasonable amount of time. That was much appreciated. Condition of the course was excellent given the price and the amount of rounds that go through the course. Challenging but fair.
I love this complex. I have only ever used the Tooth course but everything I have seen of the other courses is amazing. I have been on the Tooth course several times and I know I'll be back. For a walking 9 course it is amazing and a lot of fun. I am not very good (neither are my friends) but we love to come here and play on the Tooth course. the grounds are very well maintained and make for a very relaxing fun time on the course. I highly recommend this course.
I attended a wedding and the event was wonderful. The staff was friendly and the theme had a lot of golf undertones to make the bond of matrimony wrapped in golf a memorable experience. Would love to play a round there. Touted as the 2nd best public course in the US.
Location is central from all major attractions. Pleasant experience. Great location to own a home. Find me on instagram or Snapchat @ Orlrealtor or Facebook @ michaelgarciallc
I'm a little spoiled, having worked 8 seasons as an attendant at a private course. We had two foursomes of mostly novices for a bachelor party trounce out at the executive "Tooth" course close to midday. Central Florida. In Mid-August. As a cost-cutting measure, 37(? we split everything so I forget the actual amount) bucks to walk and rent a bag was not bad. Clubs were pretty nice to boot. Course was in great shape, albeit a little far from the clubhouse. The staff graciously offered to shuttle us out to the first tee, but we had to schlep back. I'd imagine that this is probably common for multi-course facilities, but I am not experienced with them. Course was in great shape, esp for baking in the sun. Thankfully, we were out by our lonesome, hacking it away, never felt rushed. The course layout was open and did not feel claustrophobic, despite its executive size. There are a few water challenges for the more experienced players - overall, good practice for all skill levels. My main gripe is that there wasn't a single water cooler out there in the summer heat. Again, I am pretty spoiled with my work history, and perhaps at least one of our eight people could have sprung for a water bottle for the short nine holes, but for the sake of safety and comfort, putting one somewhere in the middle would have been an inexpensive solution to keep all the golfers out there hydrated. In short: Staff: Good | Course: Great | Amenities: Fair | Price: Good | Location: Fair
