Arrived early (6:30) and course manager (Jerry) was the only person there. He went out of his way to get us started and we teed off at sunrise! The course was amazing! Great shape, several interesting... read more »
As this is a nice, well manicured golf course (Panther Lake), be prepared ... There is very little room around the greens. LOTS of sand, and when there is not sand, expect to see water. Takes a 'lob' ... read more »
One good course (Crooked Cat), one great course (Panther Lake). Both in good shape and fun to play. They have cut back on some of the small amenities like a bottle water in the ice bucket and the serv... read more »
Location is central from all major attractions. Pleasant experience. Great location to own a home. Find me on instagram or Snapchat @ Orlrealtor or Facebook @ michaelgarciallc
I'm a little spoiled, having worked 8 seasons as an attendant at a private course. We had two foursomes of mostly novices for a bachelor party trounce out at the executive "Tooth" course close to midday. Central Florida. In Mid-August. As a cost-cutting measure, 37(? we split everything so I forget the actual amount) bucks to walk and rent a bag was not bad. Clubs were pretty nice to boot. Course was in great shape, albeit a little far from the clubhouse. The staff graciously offered to shuttle us out to the first tee, but we had to schlep back. I'd imagine that this is probably common for multi-course facilities, but I am not experienced with them. Course was in great shape, esp for baking in the sun. Thankfully, we were out by our lonesome, hacking it away, never felt rushed. The course layout was open and did not feel claustrophobic, despite its executive size. There are a few water challenges for the more experienced players - overall, good practice for all skill levels. My main gripe is that there wasn't a single water cooler out there in the summer heat. Again, I am pretty spoiled with my work history, and perhaps at least one of our eight people could have sprung for a water bottle for the short nine holes, but for the sake of safety and comfort, putting one somewhere in the middle would have been an inexpensive solution to keep all the golfers out there hydrated. In short: Staff: Good | Course: Great | Amenities: Fair | Price: Good | Location: Fair
Course was in excellent shape. The driving range was huge and plenty of room to hit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.
Courses are in great shape and staff is friendly. Make sure to call directly to book a tee time if you are an Orange County resident because you cannot get the discount if you book on their website or golf now.
I played the crooked cat course. Beautiful track, in great shape. Very challenging. HUGE practice facility and driving range. Very fast greens. Courteous service, except for the girl in the clubhouse, she was short/rude.
