  • Bring you walking shoes unless you are already familiar with the location of the shops you want to visit.,nice food court and special activities and events in the center.
  • This was a nice mall to kill some time. We were visiting Wake Forest and had some time to spare. We walked the mall - it only took 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Not a huge number of st...  read more »
  • Built in the 70s and added on to in the 80s-90s it still is a main shopping area. But malls aren't as popular as before. However, if you want to go to all the typical stores and restaurants in one pla...  read more »
  • Small. But considering is in Winston-Salem, which is not a complaint, is good. Decent people, some nice stores. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. I rarely go but í don't mind going. And like any mall, eye candy.
  • Hanes Mall is a very sanitary, safe and spacious place to shop. It took me 3 different trips just to visit all of the different stores! I really enjoy the larger-sized Earthbound, Sephora, Shoe Dept., and Rainbow stores, which equals more selections! For the vacant stores, it would be fantastic to see a Lush store arrive in the area, since the other 2 for NC are located in the eastern triad region. Some other suggestions are Wet Seal, Gloria Jean's coffee, Disney store, Icing by Claire's, Barnes & Noble, and/or a toy store. Would also like to see an extension on the food court area, Hot Topic, Pacsun, and Rue 21 plus. You won't leave empty handed!
  • Despite the surrounding demographics and abandoned stores near the mall, this mall seems to keep on trucking. The biggest reason this store gets 4 stars though is the pretzel stand. In fact, it has two of em. You also have plenty of decent choices in the food court. The odd thing about this mall is when they expanded it, JCPenney never moved, so if you're in the north wing & wanna go to the south wing, you have to cross through JCPenney, which I suppose isn't bad. In some cases, this probably keeps them going. Also, be careful around the stands. Some of the people there are really pushy.
  • Very nice clean mall we need to put in a Bloomingdales. I love Macy's and there clothes. Love fry store. Good luck you all.
  • This place is absolutely awesome! The atmosphere is clean and there is a lot going on all around. My favorite thing is the selection of stores and the set up that makes you feel like you have explored the whole place then BAM! A whole new section just as large as the last with just the right consistency of stores between, it's pretty great over all!
