  • I’ve taken my daughter in there multiple times and she’s loved it every time. The exhibits and activities never get old and their summer camps are the best in the area. She lived their magic camp last...  more »
  • My family often came across a Discovery Museum in larger cities - Baltimore, Philly, etc. When one came to our little town, we were overjoyed. Apparently, so was everyone else since it was so popular,...  more »
  • I took my 3 year old neice there and she had a blast. She loves the 1st floor thr most as there is an ambulance place to "dig" for fossils, and a huge tube toy in which they let me go through with her...  more »

  • My kids love this place. We had their b day parties there too! 4 floors (top floor is open so plan accordingly) of fun things for your kids to run around and do. A lot of their things are educational which I enjoyed. Adults can even have a little fun engaging with their little ones with the various activities.
  • My 18 month old son and 3 and 5 year old nieces were all able to enjoy the activities at this discovery center. My nieces even brought some artwork home. It was fun and we had easy access to an elevator for my sister’s stroller (and my pregnant self). Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
  • Fun, immersive, and educational experience for kids of all ages. There's something to interest every kid. Staff are helpful and clearly love what they do. The price would be a bit steep for a large family (8 dollars per person, kids under 2 are free), but they make it worthwhile by letting you come and go all day. Make a day of it. Come early, go get lunch, come back in the afternoon. They also have extra programs such as pajama night and Star Wars night, but we didn't get to experience that. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to entertain your kids.
  • Pretty darn fun. I had one child get sick just as we arrived, but my husband went inside with 4 kids ages 6-9 and they had a blast for about 3 hours. Parking is a little tight, but it is in the middle of a cute, small downtown shopping area and there are signs for additional parking. A bit far too drive from the DC area, but a nice change of pace. The 4th floor is actually a roof top garden which is closed during the winter.
  • What a great place to bring the kids! I even had a great time too. Lots of close parking (but you have to pay a little for it) and the location is awesome for also checking out old town. Many entertaining things to see not just for the kids but also for adults. You can knock the while thing out in about 2 hours, or spend 3-4 if you really take your time and do everything.
