  • This was the second time we've visited. We love seeing the animals and we especially love feeding the goats!  more »
  • I am writing this review to respond to the reviewers who think they can, with a 30 minute trip, become instantaneous experts on private zoos, animals, private zoos and Tregembo Animal Park in particul...  more »
  • This place is a horrible place for their animals. They supposedly rescued them but not neglect them just for profit. No shade, lonely animals, small enclosures, no enrichment whatsoever. Would like to...  more »

  • Wonderful place!!! From the outside, you'd think it was nothing and a waste of time..boy, was I wrong. The complex is huge and sprawling, with some of the rarest animals you'll ever see and it's very up close and personal. They had Simba the live Lion King, a rare white Bengal tigress (out of 15 total in the US), and a full sized 15 ft-plus giraffe that I was standing only 5 feet away from...it was simply amazing. I'm not kidding..I felt like I was in Africa, along with the assortment of other creatures...gators, emu, lemurs, monkeys, macaws, and you could even feed many of the animals along the way! Oh yeah..they also have a museum that's a cross between Ripley's and the PT Barnum museum of the 1800s. The best $12.50 I've spent in years!!! July 7, 2017
  • I thought it was great small but very nice my grandkids loved it. That's is what zoo are for to show them real live animal the smiles on there faces are priceless. The staff were friendly. I think people need to see for themselves and not always go by others reviews. Have fun open your minds be a kid again.
  • What a wonderful experience! You can tell the workers truly care for the animals. All the animals were happy and healthy! Don't let the negative reviews scare you from this place. Go see for yourself and you won't be disappointed.
  • You will probably be pleasantly surprised if you decide to check it out. There are a lot of different animals and it's much bigger than I thought it would be. We spent 1.5 hours and probably could have spent more but they were closing. It's worth checking out if you need a break from the beach on your vacation.
  • First time to the park with a three year old. She loved it. Didn't see any depressed, abused, or distressed animals. Obviously the place doesn't have a massive public grant such as the other zoos people are comparing this to, but for a small local zoo, it was exactly what I was expecting (better than expected truly, considering the amount of animal apocalypse reviews). More big cats than I would thought for a small place, lots of monkeys, and yes, quite a few rescues. In all, don't let the amount of negative reviews, many of which are just general complaints by people that have never even been before, dissuade you from visiting. In fact the best way to ensure the animals are cared for humanely is to visit and pay the visitation fee.
