  • My wife and I always enjoy our trips to the Cotton Exchange. Unique shops for gifts or something special for yourself. For the appetite there is the German Restaurant, the Dogs Allowed Coffee Shop and for dessert, the ice creme store has many varieties. Enjoy just walking around the stores. Plus, you are in the old area of Wilmington with the boardwalk, stores and excellent eateries.
  • I've been coming here with my family since I was really little~ Excellent spot to walk/explore and look in and out of stores. They have parking in the back ( be careful, it has a time limit and is checked! ) and multiple entrances and exits~ There's a delightful cafe streetside if you'd like to have a treat while shopping. Besides being personally nostalgic, it's a really beautiful building, so much character! It's worth a visit just to see it~
  • Such a cute selection of shops! Being based out of a historic building really makes the atmosphere unique. The German Cafe has wonderful sausages and desserts, while Carolina Beads and Gemstones has any bead or beading equipment you could think of, as well as offering classes! TS Brown is a cute little jewlery shop and offers handmade pieces. They have started to charge for parking, but as far as I know, the first 2 hours are free.
  • Great place to find local artists and touristy chachkies. Somewhat confusing layout, went in and out a lot of doors to make sure we saw all the stores, but very cute. Love that they have billboards and historic indicators giving the history of the building all around as well. Great place to pay-n-park and then go stroll the streets of downtown Wilmington.
  • It is a place that you can enjoy with family and friends. Good food. Beautiful landscaping. Nice people. I love Wilmington NC. Wherever you turn fabulous spots with blooming azaleas and all the vegetation, etc.
