  • A serene place to escape. A paved trail trough the forest is beautiful and peaceful. Great to walk, run or bike ride. There are benches at resting - learning stations along the way describing the plant and wildlife ingenious to the park. Picnic shelters, visitors center with a gorgeous courtyard a playground, pet watering stations and last but not least a viewing station built over a beautiful natural lake and wildlife preserve. I roamed these woods as a child long before the park was established growing up close by. What has been built here is one of Wilmington's finest outdoor parks offering something for while family to enjoy.
  • Nice clean and scenic park. Short trails for walking or running and a cool hummingbird garden. Check out the carniverous plants outside of the visitor center.
  • Play scapes. Trails to walk in trees, not a whole lot to see, very "naturalized". They have events, places for parties. Kayaking on Thursday mornings. Yoga and other classes offered. Great place to walk your dog.
  • Large local park with ample walking trails and seats around these trails. Two enjoyable parks for children of different ages (though the larger one is currently under renovation). Also has tennis courts and a dog area.
  • Second time here and the location was nice. Other than the weather being way too hot, the visit was enjoyable. Highly recommend when the weather is reasonable.
