  • Good coverage of Cape Fear all the way from prehistory to modern times. Worth the entry price of $7.
  • Went here on field trips as a kid. Took school groups there now that I'm older. Still awesome. Still educational. Still a great place to instill a love for science and history.
  • Awesome place! Very friendly staff. Interactive exhibits that present an accurate history in an interesting way. Cool exhibit selections!
  • I would highly suggest Cape Fear Museum to anyone looking for something fun to do in Wilmington. I am a freshman in college and I went to Wilmington for the day with a few friends and we really enjoyed our time here!! There is a great balance of history, science, and interactive aspects. Loved going here!
  • My daughter and I love the Museum. I have seen the huge diorama of the Wilmington Port about a dozen times but I still spend 30 minutes looking at all the little figures going about their daily lives as citizens of a vital Confederate portown.
  • Free day on the first Sunday of the month is nice.
