  • It's a cosy park on one of the best black bass lakes in Texas! The staff there is friendly and helpful. Firewood is available, cheaply.
  • I'd give this park a five star if it wasn't infested with ants. Worst case of ants I've ever seen. Our motor home was taken over by the ants and took us several days to get rid of them after getting home. They should seriously do something to get those ants under control. My husband said we are never going back.
  • Swimming area is awesome and sandy camp site is nice and shady and couldn't ask for a better place plenty of trails..FYI the toast was awesome on camp fire Shawn.. And watch for squrriels rejecting loving u.. Ha ha
  • Great camping destination. The park lacked playground equipment and fishing piers, which makes other parks like Cooper Lake and Eisenhower better.
  • An easy weekend away from the DFW metroplex. Texas State Parks never disappoint!
